"Little Zvornik"
The Serbian three finger salute comes from Christian theology and Serbian Nationalism. The Serbs first came up with the sign in the 90s during the Yugoslav wars to see who was a Serb and who wasn't. It's a sign of brotherhood amongst the Serbs.
After the downfall of the Belgrade connection due to the arrest of Edgar Lukic, Serbian organized crime simmered down within the rat infested alleys of East Brickton. Most of the Serbs moved to Groove st, known by them as little Zvornik. Several well known figures within the Serbian outfit however, decided to keep whoever they could with them, this led to petty crimes and infighting being done across the city, not nearly as close to what the outfit once was. However one man would change this entire thing, his name is Vladimir Petrovic, an immigrant from Zvornik, Bosnia. After the arrest of Edgar Lukic, Vladimir had minimal standing within his clique ran by well known hitman Trent Dostoyevsky. Vladimir despised Trent, and sought to overthrow him to run the clique himself. He teamed up with a Bosnian war veteran Adam Bogdanovic. It took him two years to get everyone to like him more than Trent, and when it happened, it happened fast. Vladimir killed Trent in his home along with his three year old son and became the leader of the clique, some 10 people. They then went on to fight with the other Serbian cliques, trying to get them to defect to their side. This started the war of the cliques. This war would see several small Serbian cliques fighting in order to establish dominance. The main enemies of Vladimir were John Mikhailov and Bogdan Egorov. Before the arrest, Vladimir worked under Bogdan, even made some money for him. Bogdan's main friends were Trent and John. However after the arrest, the group split up and became the most powerful of the clique leaders. Now, with Vladimir running Trent's clique, both Bogdan and John saw this as an opportunity to wipe out a powerful clique. June 23rd, 2022, eight masked men enter the vicinity of the EB carwash, opening fire on a group of individuals including Vladimir. Vladimir's group fired back at the enemies, leading to three dead and six injured. Bogdan was arrested for the stunt, and his remaining members sided with Vladimir. Vladimir was now the most powerful Serb in the city. Vladimir promised John Mikhailov he would be fine as long as he defected with his entire crew to his forces. A few weeks after this happened, John was reported missing. His head was found in a suitcase under the East Brickton bridge. Vladimir was arrested for this, and would be in a cell for a year before the case was thrown out. Today, the outfit has shrunk in size since Vladimir's ascension to the top, however that is due to him laying low. But now, with the outfit running on low funds, they will have to begin major criminal activity once again.
