Makk Balla Family (γ½οΈπ)
Their Bronx counterparts would officially sanction the movement of Makks to the Lakeside community. Basketball players hailing from the Goodyear Homes would establish their own clique under the family, known as the Turnt Ballin' Niggaz (TBN). Though the boys had initially only come together to provide an outlet of income for their underfunded basketball team, they would eventually sort to muggings and petty theft in order to rack in more profit. The area quickly became a playground for the TBN crew to run wild, as they began to expand their dominance. Though the scale of their violence has simmered over the years, local residents are still reminiscent of the times where they did not know if they would see tomorrow.
"I still have police knocking on my door to this day," said Tyson Birkley, owner of the local weapons shop. "They return me guns those shitheads stole from me almost a decade ago, almost cant believe it."
Tension would rise between the Turnt Ballin' Niggaz (γ½οΈπ) and nearby 823 Comstock G-Stone Crips (πβΏ). Members of G-Stone allegedly beat a member of the clique before robbing him of everything on his person. When TBN members tried to defuse the situation, they were met with mockery over social media, disrespect they did not intend on taking. The beef would officially spark, as members from both sides would begin jumping one another, before eventually picking up guns and attempting drive-bys. Due to their size, they were able to stomp out most of their rivals presence, but the overconfident TBN crew were not ready for the deaths to follow. Taivon, who was a basketball player from their hood, but not affiliated, was targeted by their rivals in a brutal walkdown shooting. The local community was distraught by his murder, and many were brought together by the loss, including the nearby Raised on Leroy (π±) street clique.
74 Gangster Disciples (π±)
Grown in the thick of the working-class neighborhood known as the West Side, Leroy has been a hotbed for rich culture, with heavy religious presence. In spite of this, due to its proximity to the police station in comparison to other street blocks, violent crime is statistically higher than any other part of the city, with shootings and murders taking place often every other day. The Raised on Leroy (π±) crew were brought up with the migration of Gangster Disciples to Buffalo, with the group holding a large say in local gang politics. Previously one of the more organized sets in the city, EMBHA (East Brickton Municipal Housing Authority) would face pressure, eventually caving in and demolishing the apartments on the block, in order to disperse the rapid gang activity, leaving mostly misguided youngheads remaining to bang the set, with the local movement being led by Rico Irving. The TBN and ROL crew were close-knitted due to family and friend ties, but did not decide to unite under one set until Taivon was murdered, in which they grouped up for mutual protection.
Present Day
Taivon Gang Crazy (TGC) is an African-American street gang from Goodyear and Leroy Street, consisting of the Turnt Ballin' Niggaz (γ½οΈπ) and Raised on Leroy (π±) sets. Due to their involvement in his murder, TGC is disapproving towards all 823 G-Stone Crip(βΏ) sets, regardless of their affiliation. They do not easily form alliances and will only do so if it is in their best interest.
