" Back Story:
The Shore Side Killas, often referred to as SSK, is believed to be orchestrated by East Brickton’s most notorious criminals, Chris Wallace and Kendrick Parks, SSK's named leader. Kendrick is the offspring of Carter Parks, a well-known criminal in East Brickton who was associated with NMNL. When Carter’s crew, involved in arms and narcotics, was disbanded and NMNL dissolved, he began devising the formation of SSK. However, his life was abruptly ended in his penthouse, the cause being a Mac-10.
In the aftermath, a file was discovered in his safe. It contained a letter outlining his plans with Chris Wallace to establish SSK in their childhood neighborhood, the lakeside homes of Linden Drive. The file also held a heartfelt letter to Kendrick. Carter, sensing his impending demise, had penned a letter to his newborn son. This was especially poignant as Kendrick’s mother, Aiyanna Abrams, had recently been killed under mysterious circumstances after being unfaithful to Carter. The letter read:
“I may never witness your growth and success, but I have faith in you, my son. I have debts to pay that will impact the entire city. You will need protection because they will come for you next. Never involve yourself in my affairs, but never let anyone disrespect you. You will grow up as I did, in foster care, and I despise that. I’ve left you at the Police Station to keep you safe from those after me. Your resentment for me might grow as mine did for my father, but it’s too late now. That’s what will shape you. I desired all the wealth the city had to offer, and I got it, but it came with a price. My son, don’t let me be forgotten.”
Kendrick took his father’s words to heart. He stood his ground and it quickly caught up with him. After a man attempted to take Bubbles and Bloxxr from him on Broadway Street, Kendrick retaliated and ended up in prison. There, he met Chris Wallace, his father’s best friend, who was incarcerated for avenging Carter’s death. Despite their age difference, Kendrick and Chris quickly bonded. Chris introduced Kendrick to his friend in jail, Marquis Brown. Even though Chris had been incarcerated for as long as Kendrick had been alive, they were both released around the same time. They decided to put Carter’s plan into action, and thus, the Shore Side Killas of Linden Drive were formed.
Rival Gangs & Beefs:
Since its inception, the Shore Side Killas (SSK) has maintained a relatively peaceful existence. They lay claim to the same territory as the Fox 5 Gang, a fact that has led to several encounters between the two groups. However, these confrontations have yet to escalate to the point of fatal violence. No member of either gang has taken the life of a member from the opposing side, a testament to the uneasy truce that currently exists.The shared turf is Linden Drive, a neighborhood that has seen its fair share of turmoil. The residents of this area are no strangers to the tension that hangs in the air. The whispers of an impending war are growing louder with each passing day, as many speculate that a violent clash between SSK and Fox 5 is inevitable.The history of Linden Drive is steeped in tales of rivalry and power struggles. It’s a place where alliances are as fluid as the waters of the nearby lake, and loyalty is often tested. The lakeside homes, once symbols of tranquility, now serve as silent witnesses to the brewing storm. In the midst of this, SSK continues to uphold its reputation as a peaceful gang. Their leaders, Chris Wallace and Kendrick Parks, are known for their strategic approach and avoidance of unnecessary violence. They understand the cost of war and strive to maintain the delicate balance of power.However, the streets have their own rules. In the world of gangs, respect is earned, and territory is everything. The Fox 5 Gang, although sharing the turf, has its own ambitions. The tension between the two gangs is a ticking time bomb, waiting for a spark to ignite the fuse.
Territorial Claims:
The Shore Side Killas (SSK) has staked a claim over a distinct territory within East Brickton. This area encompasses the Lakeside homes, a residential area known for its violent and hustler atmosphere. The Basketball Court, a local hub of activity and camaraderie, also falls under their jurisdiction. Linden Drive, the very street that has witnessed the rise of SSK, forms the backbone of their territory. This street, steeped in history and echoing with tales of power and resistance, is more than just a geographical location for SSK. It’s a symbol of their roots, their struggles, and their aspirations. Together, these areas form the heart of SSK’s territory, serving as both their stronghold and their home.
Operations:
The SSK group, primarily involved in the sale of weapons and drugs, is rapidly diversifying its operations. Their influence now extends to a boxing gym and the Shaffer Apartments. The group’s involvement in boxing is significant, with many of their members being trained by professional boxer Chris Wallace. They host boxing matches, turning them into lucrative events. Additionally, they have found a revenue stream in music, thanks to Kendrick Parks, also known as kLkash. As a rapper, Parks contributes to the group’s income through his music releases, performances, and endorsements.
