LATIN KINGS π
BACKGROUND:
The Latin Kings are a Latino Street gang originating in Chicago in the 1960s. They originally started out as The Imperials to protect Latino Immigrants from racial prejudice. Eventually the Latin Kings formed into a gang after forming with multiple Mexican and Latino street gangs to protect themselves from Italian and greaser gangs.
BACKSTORY OF LK LEADER.
Juan "Payaso" De La Cruz Joined the Latin Kings when he was 10. He joined because he had a bad home life as his dad was very abusive towards him and his mother. Before he joined the Latin Kings he used to hang around with members often because his friends had family from Latin Kings. Since he knew his friends since he was very little they were almost like family to him. But Juan "Payaso" De La Cruz Finally Joined the Latin Kings when he had enough of his dads abusive behavior and his beef with other gangs because he often got into fights with other kids at his school most being from somewhere cauing a lot of tension.
When Juan was 11 his friend was killed by a rival gang right infront of him at a liquor store. Juan was so mad that he went out looking for the person that killed his friend. he found the person that killed him at a house party so he aimed the gun at him getting ready to fire, but as he pulled the trigger his gun jammed... but it was already to late as he was spotted, as Juan was about to get shot and killed another member of the Latin Kings "Sleepy" shot the rival and killed him. Sleepy was later arrested 2 weeks later for 1st degree murder and got life in prison. Juan had a best friend named Armando Rios, his street name was "Razor" they talked often about girls, and making money. Juan told Armando "Ay foo, I dont know how long more I got left I got alot of heat on me right now for what happened at that damn party". Armando responded to Juan saying "Dont worry foo you be alright, matter of fact take this strap its a ruger to keep you safe in these damn streets". Juan responded "Thanks foo this will keep me safe for sure". Armando responds "No problem homie".
Juan later got into another altercation with the same gang that killed his friend, they said to him "Fool, we kno that you the reason the homie Locs was killed! and just for that, we gon make sure you suffer the same fate!" As one of the members was about to pull something out Juan quickly pulled out his Ruger, Shot the member 3 times and never ran faster in his life as he heard footsteps right behind him chasing him but he eventually lost them. This would be his last altercation before moving to East Brickton.

After Juan's dad died Juan and his mom moved to East Brickton, Juan's mom decided to come here because she was afraid of Juan getting killed in the streets of Chicago but little did she know this would be the cause for even more problems later on.
Juan has transfered to his new High School in East Brickton but due to East Brickton having a very high black population he got picked on alot just for being Latino he was often called a "Beaner" and a "Wetback", due to this Juan got into alot of fights gaining him respect but respect was not enough. Juan later on formed a group with other Latino kids to protect themselves from bullies, And then Juan's Best friend Armando "Razor" Rios moved to East Brickton as well.

I never knew you moved to East Brickton, You just told me you were going to some city you dont know!". Juan responds "Yeah foo I never expected to see you here though, why you here for?". Armando responds "My momma thought that I was gonna die in those streets..." Armando stays quiet then says "Thinking bout it now I probably was" Juan responds "Me too" as they dap each other up and throw up the crown.

While Juan and Armando are hanging out with their group in front of Shaffer apartments a group of kids come up to their group and one of them says "Ay! What the fuck you damn wetbacks doin in our hood!" Juan responds with "We ain't tryna have no problems but if you wanna have problems then we gonna have problems!". As Juan is finishing his sentence he gets sucker punched, starting a giant brawl that lasted for 1 minute until one of the gang members pulled out a knife and stabs one of Juan's friends. Since none of Juan's group is armed they all run while one of them bleeds out in the middle of the street, starting major beef.
After the death of one of the kids in the group Juan and Armando jumped in every kid in their group into Latin Kings to protect themselves. Gaining new members daily as they Jump in Latino Kids at their school so they can become stronger in numbers, making them deadly. Juan's mom later dies from cancer leaving him to provide for himself now since he cannot afford to pay for their house. So he then starts selling drugs, weapons and more.

Latin Kings Only reside in this part of Ganson Street due to a much larger Gang AsociaciΓ³n De La Cruz claiming most of Ganson street. They also reside here because many members can be seen around here because they live in this area. With this area also being more quiet makes for an excellent spot for selling weapons and drugs.

In attempts to make a name for themselves the Latin King members can sometimes be seen robbing stores and people and sometimes selling drugs, guns and weapons They occasionally can be seeing posting up on Ganson street. With members having run in's with police and some being arrested often. The Latin Kings can be recognized by throwing up crowns or wearing yellow sometimes. But not all members wear Latin King colors. Known leaders are Juan "Payaso" De La
Cruz, Armando "Razor" Rios and Issac "Sneaky" Hernandez. With Only two black members because they are Dominican.
