Life Before Rap
Reese Flocka, real name "Maurice Banks" is a 17 year old hailing from the Bedford Ave Projects on 168th & Bedford. When Maurice was around 9 years old, the Bedford Ave Projects were torn down, leading to Maurice, his baby brother Brandon, and his mother moving to Military Road. It was here were Maurice found his true identity. Maurice started to become a product of his surroundings, jumping off the porch at the young age of 12, and joining the street gang "Touch Money Flocka". Maurice would start jacking $MM (Sex Money Murda), because he respected their values. He saw TMF as a family and became extremally close with the members. Despite his life of crime, Maurice was a subpar athlete. He played basketball with some of the other kids from Military, some of them being affiliated with TMF themselves. He had a promising career before he got sent to an alternative school for getting caught with bubble blowers in his backpack. After this experience Maurice would drop out in the 9th grade and would take the path his father went down. Maurice and other TMF members would start cooking /BLOXR/ and growing /BUBBLES. to make a living.

Maurice felt lost in life, he felt because of his decision to drop out of school he was going to be a bum. He decided to give rapping a shot and would book studio time with the money he had gained from selling drugs. Maurice seen the drill wave pop off in New York, and felt he could hop on it. Maurice, his little brother Brandon Banks, and his friend Symere Fisher would record 3 tracks, none of which would ever be released. Even though the songs never dropped, They shared the songs around the area and they would create a small buzz. This would motivate Maurice to drop more music, and would eventually drop his first song "glockyboyz".
