WHAT IS A HARDCORE CREW?
According to undercover research, a hardcore crew is a group of individuals from a specific area that attend hardcore punk shows. While this seems harmless, they take pride in where they are from and what they represent. Heavily induced in drugs and weapons running underneath they're tough looking surface. Hardcore originated in 1981 with Minor Threat's release of "First Two Seven Inches" movements of all sorts came from this release. Setting each other apart frequently. Some do not get along with each other. Like the Youth Crew in the early 1990's and the Straight Edge movement started by Minor Threat as well which promotes a sober lifestyle. The Youth Crew did not agree to this and as the Straight Edgers pushed their beliefs to the max, things got violent. Brawls, Vulgar arguments and even Shootouts evolved from the two different lifestyles. Modern day Crews are a bit different and stick to themselves most of the time but still have a huge pride in what they stand for.
Bystander Sarah Banks speaks on the event that took place that night. "It was scary, like 10 white guys just going at it in the street while I was at a stop light. I couldn't even go when it turned green because, I kid you not they were in my way. I want to say this is out of the usual but I really can't in this shit hole of a city. 6 against 4 doesn't seem fair although so much swinging was going on I couldn't tell who was on who's side. Just beating the shit out of each other for god knows why."
Another crowd goer speaks and states, "It happened so fast. I mean the scene is aggressive and yea people beat the shit out of each other in the pit but it stays in the pit we don't make a fool out of ourselves out in public like that. And to just keep beating on each other over a disagreement is fucking pitiful. The scene needs to get rid of these crews that think they're all tough shit when they're just a bunch of white and hispanic guys who dress tough and are covered in tats."
Wish these guys were incorrect about how often this happens but it is true. East Brickton has took a turn for the worse. The police took approximately 6 hours investigating the scene before coming to the conclusion and found the root of this encounter, hardcore crews. While unpopular and small in size these groups are rather dangerous due to their philosophy on their own life. As a member of Kings Crew stated, "It's our way or no way. If a mother fucker is any different from us we have an instant problem and we deal with problems early."

"Swing on Sight Family" has been around for years and is very popular among the hardcore scene for people to be apart of their movement across America. Kings Crew while much newer and less popular have the same amount of manpower and reports say, "fire power" as SOSF because of their aim for the younger crowd as opposed to SOSF where they recruit members over 21. These crews look like gangs but are actually very organized when it comes down to their inner workings. A hierarchy of elders followed by the lower members who all aim for the same thing in life.
"FSU" or "Fuck Shit Up" is the subset of the Kings Crew and the youth of that crew can be found living in the Shaffer Homes. While they are known as the Kings Crew you can identify them by their constant tag art along walls of East Brickton that'll say something along the lines of. "FSU, KXC, KC, 113" A lot of these kids who attempt to make a name for themselves within the crew decide to tag to get an elders attention for a potential respect bonus I guess. Bottom line is these kids are pieces of shits who will do anything to ruin an innocents day.

The local 113 is under their own flag as of now but has many ties in prison to a local "Peckerwood" set. A peckerwood is a white supremacy prison gang. Also known as the EBW or East Brickton Woods, these guys run the prison system recruiting new inmates as long as they fit the required criteria. The ratio of recruitment is unstoppable, two new inmates come in, four new "Woods" come out. While the younger generation cannot grasp the concept of their hateful ideologies, once placed in the prison system, it's game over for them. You can identify a "wood" by their tattoos and slang. A popular Peckerwood tattoo is, well you guessed it, a woodpecker. Followed by a swastika, a clover, or anything to do with AB which has ties to the Aryan Brotherhood. Many Kings Crew members represent by their tattoos it's a big way to make their name throughout their hierarchy so if you don't know if someone is one or not, they probably aren't one due to how prideful of the crew they are.
Modern Day Kings
Modern Day Kings
The modern day Kings Crew sticks to the original Skinhead way in their ideologies. A new wave of 2023 skinheads take hiding using other names such as the Kings Crew. Staying true to their philosophies, getting money, doing drugs, exposure to violent and criminal acts, and representing white supremacy. They are constantly recruiting young, underprivileged white males in a poverty stricken area.
