Black Harp Gang
The Goodyear collapse
After the big Iceblox heist, the Goodyear Bastards were under heavy investigation of the EBPD, and of course, the first to go was Brandon and James Collins. The two were apprehended in their Goodyear home by the FBI. The authorities found several illegal firearms, drugs, and three prostitutes. This incriminating evidence, along with the investigation's evidence that the two were leading an organized crime syndicate, the two were basically doomed in court. They both got life in prison for kingpinning, murder etc. The leadership was then given to Shawn Mccain, a well respected member in the Goodyear Bastards, but not all Goodyear members respected his spot at the top, so they began a long period of internal conflicts which would lead to the destruction of Irish Organized Crime in East Brickton for several years.
Internal Conficts within the Irish outfit
Goodyear for the next two years would become a warzone for organized crime related violence. There were three main contestants to succeed the Collins Brothers. Shawn Mccain, Eric McMillan, and Jimmy Grant. Shawn Mccain was backed by infamous gangsters within the group like Scott Murray, a participant in the iceblox heist. Shawn had the most men and influence in the outfit at the time of the collapse, which led to him having the most support. Eric McMillan was backed by several notable figures in today's Black Harp Gang, including Billy Duncan and Eric's brother, Moses McMillan. The underdog in this struggle was Jimmy Grant, who only had a few associates with him at the beginning of the conflict.
The struggle for power became clear when Eric McMillan along with some associates of his, performed a drive by shooting at the Goodyear Carwash which left Shawn Mccain injured, and his right hand man, Scott Murray, crippled from the waist down. This defined the division within the organization, which would lead to more gangland style murders. Jimmy Grant had a rather large social circle within his sect of the Goodyear bastards, and he would rally his men to fight for his own power. He began his streak of violence by first kidnapping Moses McMillan, the brother of Eric McMillan, and holding him for ransom until Eric McMillan would step down and surrender his men to work for himself. What would ensue after this would show the brutal nature of Eric McMillan, which would ultimately lead to his downfall. Eric sent his men, who kidnapped Jimmy's wife and two daughters in broad daylight. He then held them for ransom, so Jimmy had no choice but to let Moses go, unscathed, and surrender his men to Eric. However, Eric didn't care, and killed the three girls himself, with zero remorse for his actions, he then killed Jimmy.
"I would've gladly died so those innocent little girls had stayed alive" - Moses McMillan
Moses had felt serious guilt, that he was responsible for the deaths of those innocent people. He knew there was only one way to make it right. Most of Eric's men also disapproved with his actions, so they began a conspiracy against him. They got together to have a meeting with Eric, but as Eric was walking in, Moses pulled the trigger on his own brother. He then had to dispose of his own brother's body with his new crew. Moses was now the leader of Eric's crew, and they now focused on attacking Shawn McCain, who was still dangerous to them, even with Jimmy's boys on their side now. Shawn had already killed two of Eric's men during these internal conflicts within his own crew, and this wasn't good news to Moses. So Moses had to do a gangland style killing to try and scare Shawn into submission. Shawn's right hand man, Scott Murray, was in the back seat with him at a red light near the downtown area. A blacked out car pulled up beside them, Mac 11s aimed out the window. They killed the driver, Scott, but left Shawn hospitalized. While Shawn was in the hospital, his own group spiraled out of control, and eventually disbanded into smaller cliques. Shawn wouldn't survive his time in the hospital.

With Moses McMillan crowned winner of the civil war, he adopted the name, "Black Harp Gang," as the Harp is the symbol of the Irish. The organization is now attempting to rebuild, and is currently reorganizing and getting back into racketeering across the Goodyear area.
