Genesee is an area known to be made up of Rollin 80s (8️⃣0️⃣♿) and Rollin 30s (3️⃣0️⃣♿) dating back to the movement with the crips in Los Angeles in 1969. Most of the members migrated to different parts and some located in the East side of Buffalo in East Brickton, all it took for was one being Reginald Coleman (Lil Frog#2) in 1989 who started his gang he banged in LA to Buffalo.
Throughout the years as the gang grew it took some time for them to grow, when the gangs started to come and grow as a collectively in other parts of East Brickton. Members would collectively start decreasing in 2006. It took around ten years for the gang to come back up with some younger members in 2016, where the death of Reginald Coleman struck the area hard. He was killed by some collective up in North Kent who they bickered with a few times once over there but ultimately started beefing due to the death of their founder. They beef with KentAve (〽️🐝,⛪️) and The Doves (2️⃣0️⃣🅱️).
The gang today has made little to no noise in their area up until 2021 after they started going at it with Kent Avenue(〽️🐝,⛪️) a neighboring blood gang who they beef heavily with, it got to a point where they started losing members from both sides, a whole lot of blood was shed during the summer. It made it to where the gang went into a rebuilding stage, having to cease fire with the neighboring gang.
As of now the current state of the gang itself has been hard as some of the older members don't even come around to check up on the group, it has just been held by younger affiliates who would commit petty crime without a say in what they do. From 1989 to 2011 they were nailed the 'Genesee Crips' 2011 to 2019 they became known as the Original Maniac Crips; Now they started nailing themselves Stay Paid Gang/SPG.
