In the year 2017, two individuals Niko Cooper and Jahmir Brown formed a gang inside of Prison while incarcerated naming it $MM once seeing how life was on the inside of prison. They vowed to make a fortress of protection for people like them who only wanted to make money. Due to Niko's charismatic personality he gained the trust of many prisoners solidifying the name $MM within the prison's walls. When Niko Cooper and Jahmir Brown were released from Prison they moved back to their childhood block Military Rd. and began building their gang's reputation, getting into the drug trafficking trade amassing more and more money to fuel further illegal business ventures. On their path to success they had made many allies and many enemies. One fateful day, Niko Cooper was shot dead outside of his home after a failed robbery attempt where Niko Cooper attempted to shoot his two assailants. Following the violent demise of Niko Cooper, $ex Money Murder faced a transition in leadership, with Jahmir Brown, Niko's right hand man emerging as the new head. Fueled by a thirst for retribution and an insatiable hunger for money passed on by Niko, Jahmir initiated a series of ruthless campaigns that propelled the gang into an unprecedented era of brutality and infamy.
By the time 2018 arrived, $ex Money Murder had firmly established its dominion over several key territories along the East Coast. Jahmir's leadership was marked by an unrelenting pursuit of vengeance against rival gangs and a ruthless expansion of their criminal operations. The gang's activities included drug trafficking, extortion, and a myriad of other illicit ventures, firmly entrenching their influence in the seedy underbelly of the urban landscape. Jahmir's reputation for merciless retaliation and his penchant for strategic maneuvering cemented Sex Money Murder's status as a force to be reckoned with. Law enforcement agencies intensified their efforts to dismantle the gang, leading to a series of high-profile raids and arrests. Despite these setbacks, $ex Money Murder's resilience remained unshaken, as they continued to adapt and evolve their criminal operations to evade law enforcement scrutiny. A new right hand man emerged in Jahmir's new leadership known as "V" on the streets. He began managing their business taking in the footsteps of his late cousin, Niko Cooper. Together they began collecting connections to grow their drug empire.

The Trends claimed Military road as their territory because of it's distance from the police station making it easier for members of $ex Money Murder to run before Police reach the crime scene due to the time it takes to travel from one end of the city to the other. Many other gangs live on this street aswell providing cover for their operations against police investigations.
