 | Early years Replacing the previous capos before him, Dominic Moretti took the seat as captain of the decaying Bedford Ave crew which was founded and shaped by Carmine Carga. Dominic and the few soldiers he had took the crew to new heights with his control of the docks, drug trade, and a bunch of lucrative rackets. Dominic who was under the Chicago outfit was promoted to underboss having to leave East Brickton to take care of Chicago business, leaving the crew to Kevin Lorenzo an old timer gangster. Kevin led the crew to moderate success while Dominic was away, until a huge string of indicments crippled Chicago which made Dominic scared that his time would come. He left Chicago and rejoined with his old friends, starting an outfit of his own. |
Moretti wars As Dominic becomes a boss, two factions of his family are formed, the Bedford Ave crew and the York Street Crew. During Kevins reign as capo, the two crews were at peace until Kevin collapsed duo to natural causes, Peter Blanco, right hand man of Kevin, was made the new capo, Peter had a reputation as a ruthless and sociopathic gangster. One day, Anthony Greco capo of the York Street crew went to a sitdown at Salty saloon over one of Peters guys who was a good earner for the Bedford Faction. Anthony demanded that Peters guy worked for him instead, but with the presence of Dominic, he refused. This decision angered Anthony who brought his crew and shot up Salty Saloon, but one thing that Anthony didn't know was that Dominic was still inside. A bullet scraped Dominics skull and Peters arm was injured, Dominic found out immedietly that York Street was responsible and a civil war broke loose. As war broke out, bodies between both crews began to drop like flies, shootouts in broad daylight between wiseguys, East Brickton became a warzone which eventually got to Anthony, he was shot 8 times outside of his social club. |  |
New Dawn Dominic died of natural causes at the age of 68, he left the crown over to Lucas "Skinny Luke" Carmelo, Peter became an informant which made Luke put rising star Jimmy Delluci as the new capo of the Bedford crew, his reign didn't last that long as the FBI started major indicments towards the outfit which damaged the outfit's patriarchy. As the FBI calmed down, Luke put recently inducted family member, Ralph Greco as the new head of the Bedford Faction. The crew has had quite a rocky history, with new faces coming and going it seems as if the crew will never hit the same heights it once had but with time, maybe theres gonna be a new dawn, who knows? |  |
