Is the mafia gaining too much power within East Brickton and why isn't the EBPD doing anything? Article written by Josepha Montani
New York City, Chicago, and New Bloxton were at one time the hub for gangsters and wiseguys. "Goodfellas" as they called themselves with their expensive cars and suits, roaming the streets with respect and fear, but nowadays all of that is a distant memory as RICO charges and indictments would swoop thousands of gangsters off the street but one family has managed to maintain they're power and influence.
The Moretti crime family commonly known as the "East Brickton Outfit" has been the only modern family to maintain its power and structure. Allegedly a small crew under the wing of Chicago in the 2010s but with the passing of their capo Carmine Carga, Dominic Moretti was made in charge of the crew. The crew grew in size and influence eventually breaking off from Chicago becoming its own independent family.
Dominic Moretti died at Mercy Hospital at the age of 68 which resulted in a swift but brutal power struggle where his brother Chris Moretti who was the suspected underboss at the time was shot to death while taking a walk on Broadway Ave. Mafia experts state that Lucas "Skinny Luke" Carmelo and Derald Bruno are the ones probably running the family.
(Photo of Dominic Moretti and an unknown associate) (~) We had an interview with a former made soldier turned witness protection to get info on the EB mob. We've recently had an interview with formerly made member Peter Blanco, this is what he had to say: Interviewer: So, how did you get involved in that life? Peter Blanco: Y'know, I saw these f***king guys with their nice cars and stuff, they operated a joint down my apartment building, I think it was called "Salty Saloon" or something. So, I was like what the f***, and I walk down to their bar, and next thing I know, I'm talking to Dominic Moretti about some job or whatever, this was when he was only a soldier in Carms crew. Interviewer: When did you become a soldier? Peter Blanco: I had a pretty good relationship with Dominic and I was making decent money, so, he proposed me to Carm, and then, later on, I earned my button which basically means I was a member, y'know how it goes. Interviewer: How did the outfit gain its power? Peter Blanco: We got involved with a bunch of legal businesses and companies, the biggest one during my day was the docks, we controlled all the imports and exports which basically meant we ran the city. Interviewer: Why hasn't the EBPD done anything? Peter Blanco: We had a bunch of cops and lawyers under our pockets, they would basically give a heads up on any investigations and even if we got arrested over some b*******, we could easily go out on bail. I don't how it is today but I think they're more focused on the street gangs than guys like us. Interviewer: How did yall make money? Peter Blanco: Of course, we had some legal income but most of our money came illegally. I made my money mostly from selling Bloxr on the street, we were big with drugs, we sold tons of Bloxr, Bubble blowers, and a lot more on the street, at one time we supplied most the street gangs with drugs. We also had our hands in gambling and fighting, a lot of money was made that way. (~)

Decrease in Crime causes Real Estate Boom Written By Joesepha Montani
East Brickton during the past decade has been recognized as being the most depraved, crime infected and violent city in the U.S, but in recent years with the combined forces of the EBPD and social awareness of the community, gun crime has dropped by 30% and the homicide rate by 15%. Even if its just a slight drop, its caused a sort off Real Estate boom within the city as business owners and home owners have started moving to the city, feeling safer than before.
Langfield, which was a hub for crime for years, has now turned into a safer district as real estate giants have opened new apartments in the district such as "Langfield Apartments" a high end living space. (~)
