History | Dead Man Incorporated
Dead Man Incorporated or simply referred as D.M.I is a predominantly white organized crime enterprise founded in the Maryland Correctional Facilities in 2000. Originally D.M.I worked under the Black Guerilla Family, a large African-American black power prison/street gang but then soon cut ties after gaining more members. The organization soon grew rapidly after its creation, spreading across the US States, such as New York and the surrounding areas and even the Southern States. After the rapid growth of the organization it soon became out of control, ideologies and cooperation between some of the D.M.I sets became sour as different ideological factions became to sprout up.
After years of being disorganized and out of control, Dead Man Incorporated over the years slowly became more stabilized and organized. Each Faction began to make some sort of peace deal/partnership to help stabilize the organization. Majority of these Factions even though being apart of the same umbrella have ideological differences and objectives depending on which region the faction resides in. Though, majority of the sets and D.M.I members tend to not get involved in the political divide in the organization, some still get dragged into it do to their region and neighboring sets.
In 2039 a faction within D.M.I wanting to spread a white supremacy ideology to fellow members ended up getting in a war with the New York Dawgs (Dawg is a term DMI call its members) that was already apart of a New England based faction that carries the original ideals of the D.M.I. The mini-war lasted for 8 months, destroying the profits and most of their operations as well as drawing the attention of the public and the Police.
The Move to East Brickton | New York Dawgs
In 2040, members of the New York Dawgs (D.M.I Sub-Set) soon moved to East Brickton after multiple police investigations and raids, which lead to majority of the New York members arrested. Matthew "Spooky" Phillips, which was a Commander at the time, led the members into East Brickton where they set up in various housing areas. Due to Matthew's connections, the East Brickton Dawgs established connections with one of higher ranked D.M.I members in prison known as "Big Ron." In 2041, Ron gave Matthew the greenlight to officially start running the previous operations in East Brickton, this in turn caused Matthew Phillip's group get recognized amongst D.M.I high ranks as a sub-set.

Where They Reside
As members slowly moved into East Brickton, two New York Dawg members were directed to pick a good location to keep all members in the ranks together. It was decided to pick a relatively new and empty location, to avoid confrontation with other factions, as they were just barely on their feet. A good example, would be 'Military Road,' located on the outer parts of East Brickton. This road as of now only withholds a few houses, along with a fishery. Surrounding areas consist of a Laundromat, Shaffer Homes, The East Brickton Boxing Club, etc.
Operations | Structure
The New York Dawgs (NYD) quickly took note of East Brickton's rein on drugs. The group quickly caught on and began involving itself in narcotic distribution. They can also be seen committing other generic crimes. This includes: robbery, grand theft auto, theft, prostitution, illegal gambling, gun trafficking, etc.
One of the two things that make unique is the terminology for the structure. However, the roles and importance of each rank is quite simple:
- Supreme Commander
- The head of the sub-set (Matthew Phillips.) He manages the technical side of the faction, which could be ranking, operations, and so on. - Commander
- The Commander acts as the Supreme Commander's fill in. If Matthew Philips is incarcerated, or inactive for whatever amount of time, the Commander steps in and fills his role. - Elders
- The name is very self-descriptive. Elders are older guys of the faction. Despite the early resignation, they have earned their right to 'retire.' In most cases, Elders are still seen sticking around with active members as a helping hand, to watch, or to help overview operations to report to a higher rank. - Captain
- As the people in the lower ranks are organized into 'crews,' the Captain leads one of said crews. The Captain may direct a certain operation, or he may lead a hit. Captains are givin directions by the Commander which he must enforce upon himself and his men. - Sergeant-At-Arms
- Acting as Enforcers, this role is responsible for keeping each Soldier in line as well as assisting the Captains with anything they might need. Soldiers also might come to an SAA if they have a problem with another Soldier. - Soldier
- Soldier's are new guys who met an SAA, which was later introduced to a Captain. Soldiers usually do lower tier jobs, until they get sufficent experience, and respect to become an SSA candidate, which is decided by the chain of command above.
East Brickton Laundromat
One thing that makes this street gang very unique is the fact it has a front for money laundering. As it turns out, Isaac Colton, the NYD Commander, has connections to a local business. Isaac's grandfather Donald Colton owned the Laundromat for some time. After Donald's death, Isaac became the full owner of the business, as his father was in poor health due to Stage 5 Alzheimer's. Isaac reported this to Matthew and D.M.I HR's. And it became the official front for the group.
