ShadySyde
ShadySyde is a multi-ethnic street clique with most members being around the ages 13-18. The street clique is located on the block of Linden Drive and is home to one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the city. This clique is known for symbolizing their territory by using spray-paint. This street-clique participates mostly takes part in non-violent crimes with some exceptions. The crimes this clique takes part in is usually drug distribution and gun distribution. You could most likely see this clique on your timeline either beefing with their rivals or boasting about their "wealth" and "power".Origins
They way their name originated is when a highly reputable and beloved member of 1300 Stain Gang (former name) was gunned down by a rivaling gang, called ParcSide Cripz when he was walking home. The beef started over a territory beef, on which members from both gangs argued over who owned Linden Drive. After the argument, members from the ParcSide Cripz started planning out an assassination on Shady, a member of the 1300 Stain Gang clique. The members of the rivaling gang waited on a corner near the Bedford block and waited for Shady to start walking home and for other members to leave, and as soon as other members left and Shady began to walk home, they drove up to him. They left the suburban, dumping 9 bullets into Shady's body. Police say he was hit 7 times throughout his body. 1300 Stain Gang came up with the name, "ShadySyde" to pay homage to the fallen member.
Linden Drive
George Linden was an American architect that played a big role in the urban development of Erie County, the region holding the City of East Brickton, along with several other communities. Linden became a namesake for a small town just outside East Brickton’s municipal boundaries, a waterfront community that had an estimated population of at the time 2,000 people. Due to its geographical placement, the township of Linden was a wealthy religion, littered with great manors and spacious parks. In the 1970s, along with several other small suburbs, Linden officially joined the City of East Brickton. The city however neglected the community, keeping its focus on more central neighborhoods, and Linden failed to receive proper funding to keep the community flourishing. The neighborhood began to see a change in cultural demographics too, and so poverty and gang violence began to infest the once tight-knit community.
Operations
Members are most commonly spotted in a certain alleyway, called the Kutt. The alleyway inbetween two houses on the Linden Drive block. This alleyway between the two houses was was named after a former notorious Bedford St Criminal member named OG Kutthroat. This is like the headquarters for the ShadySyde clique. This is where all problems are handled, drug and weapons deals and jumping in new members. Any illegal action preformed by a street clique is done in the Kutt.
Current Times
Nowadays, members are still usually seen attending or making functions and still continuing their tradition of marking their territory with their excellent graffiti skills. You could probably spot some members going back and forth with their rivals on bwitter, or you could probably spot some members tagging up an area. This group is still keeping up their tradition of drug distribution and gun distribution, as they are one of the biggest profiters from that end of business. Overall, in this day and age ShadySyde is still a relatively active clique that is always expanding.
