MILITARY ROAD
Military Road became the turf of a notorious gang known as the Original Young Gangsters (OYG), marking the street as their hang around stronghold. The gang's origins traced back to the tough streets of Military Road, where a group of curious youth formed a brotherhood seeking protection and solidarity. Over time, the Original Young Gangsters evolved into a formidable force, controlling illicit trades, from drug trafficking to illegal arms deals, turning Military Road into a hub for criminal enterprises. The street's architecture served as a labyrinth of hideouts and secret meeting spots, where the Original Young Gangsters orchestrated their operations away from the prying eyes of law enforcement. Despite law enforcement's efforts to curb the gang activity, Military Road remained a symbol of urban decay, with the Original Young Gangsters maintaining a tight grip on the community's fate. As tensions between rival gangs escalated, Military Road became a battleground for territorial disputes, echoing with the sounds of screeching tires and gunfire, solidifying its reputation as a dangerous enclave in the criminal underworld.
THE ROOTS
The Original Young Gangsters (OYG) was founded in 2012 by two brothers, Jahmir "J-Tone" Fields and Denzel "Rooster" Fields who were in their early teens at the time. They grew up in East Brickton and it wasn’t pretty for the duo and wasn’t always perfect or great growing up. Sometimes Jahmir and Denzel would go home to no food being on the table and not knowing what their next meal would be. Around some time in the summer time of 2012, Jahmir would have this wild idea to start a crew or clique to gain money to provide for their families. After a couple weeks the idea was noted, Jahmir and Denzel would finally start the Original Young Gangsters residing members from their circle, whose names will be Tyrell Watkins, Ja’Shawn Parks, and Dayquan Booker. These 5 members would begin to gain more members in OYG which was only at a quantity of twenty people in the span of two-three months. Nothing really escalated, they got into a few run-ins with the cops and some Drilly Gang Members for being posted up in the wrong section with-out letting it be known, but nothing really happened more than that the Original Young Gangsters was just considered a tagging group since that’s what they did to get street cred and get their name around. As more people began to join the Original Young Gangsters they started to gain more recognition but at the same time they would gain hatred from people also, after a while they would still have a couple run-ins with Drilly Gang and at this point Jahmir felt like he would need to protect his gang because he felt heavily threaten by Drilly Gang. In the time following Jahmir and Denzel would be out looking for connections for guns, drugs or anything they could use to make money and protect themselves.

THE COMEUP
THE WAR
Almost 10 years have passed and the Original Young Gangsters and Drilly Gang have been in possession of inoffensive terms for quite a minute, they've had a few up and downs over time them bumping heads and having a fist fight or a brawl but nothing other than that has happened, up till Drilly Gang were meeting up with the Original Young Gangsters to do a drug deal, but this would all go wrong when a member from OYG said the wrong and Drilly Gang didn't take it lightly so they withdrew a weapon on the males and told them "Hand it over before I blast yobitch ass."
The member from the Original Young Gangsters listened to what he had to say and gave the drugs over. They didn't take these actions kindly and they will have the feeling of seeking revenge and retaliating on Drilly Gang. One OYG member whom name was Extra was walking on Linden Drive where they hang around looking for revenge, he then spotted two Drilly Gang members walking, Extra was gripping his firearm walking past the duo of Drilly Gang, Extra would then go up into a alley and go behind a garage waiting for the perfect to strike at the males. Extra sees the perfect moment to attack the duo, he then cocks back his Glock 17 and rushes towards the males, Extra would start to shoot his firearm at the males until it clicked. Extra would kill one and the other would get away but the male who got shot was pronounced dead on arrival (DOA). This shooting would cause a war between the Original Young Gangsters and Drilly Gang.
OPERATION STOPPING OYG
Due to the gruesome and brutal war with Drilly Gang the East Brickton Police Department issued 'Operation Stopping OYG' on September 4th, 2022. Around 11:05 PM September 7th, 2022 The East Brickton Police Department rushed into a house on Military Road, ramming inside the house of a OYG member with a battering ram, yelling and demanding all the people in the house to get on the floor. The officers then released the K9's into the house in order to sniff the drugs out, the K9 went to this vent which lead to hideout in the kitchen leading the officers to open it, finding 15 kilos of cocaine and 50g of marijuana, and a Hi Point with 7 bullets. They detained all the suspects then loading them into the swat van, at the end of the raid they indicted 25 members and contained 10 firearms. Since the raid a newer generation and younger members have recently appeared these members like to post up on Military Road which they like to call "Young Gangster Side", "Young Gangster Town", and "Young Gangster Boulevard". These younger members has also created multiple cliques within the gang. The Original Young Gangsters are expanding heavily everyday with newer and younger members joining, the gang is also mostly younger members trying make a way and put money on table but you never know you got to "Get Rich or Die Trying".
OOC INFORMATION
Jahmir would ask his friends that have connections for protection and drugs to put money on the table so the Original Young Gangsters would be able to fund themselves, Jahmir’s friends would understand where he's coming from and would tell him he’ll get the phone call in a week. After a week Jahmir finally got the phone call from a man named Refoh Amdeko, Refoh was this big time drug lord and everybody and the city knew who Refoh was. He was heavily respected, Refoh would tell Jahmir to drop by his office and he had a surprise for him. Jahmir would go to pick up Denzel and they would ride to Reoh’s office. The trio would talk about businesses possibly having it in the future. Time went by and Refoh was ready to reveal the “surprise” he had stored for them, Refoh told the duo what was in the bag. Following after that, the duo would ride back home and would walk in on the members with two large duffle bags and tell the members of OYG he got a connection with a man named Refoh Amdeko and that he supplied us with coke, marijuana and guns, a member of OYG would ask “What's in the bags?” Jahmir would reply and say “I'm glad you asked”. and then Jahmir propped the bag(s) up on the table and opened them. Denzel would pull out 3 bricks of coke from each bag, 10 kilograms of marijuana, and would pull one Glock 17 from each bag and two Hi Points from each bag. The members of OYG would be shocked and all Denzel could do was smile, Jahmir would begin to tell the members that they have two weeks to move drugs in that time span or they would be killed or severely injured by Refoh and his crew. Exactly one day after Jahmir showed the drugs and gave them to members. The members would start to move the drugs and if they did good, Refoh would supply them with drugs and guns again. And this cycle would go on for years and years until Refoh had felt like he had done enough for them he supplied to the point where they could make their own money and supply themselves with everything they wanted, but they still had their connections with him and his people. Having drugs and guns meant they had power. In 2014, Jahmir was having a conversation with Denzel about their supplies and how much they had and Jahmir had gotten this idea out of the blue and he told Denzel “I got this idea bro, we have the power and supplies to start our own shit, start our own gang Rooster.” Denzel responded to Jahmir telling him “Nah, I don’t know if I'm ready right now.” Jahmir responded, “Denzel we got enough guns, drugs to defend ourselves. We got the reputation bro." Denzel responded, “Yeah, you have a point Jah, shit since you put it like that, I’m with whatever you with Jah, you know this.” This small conversation would start an organization, a family, and a brotherhood named the Original Young Gangsters.

This faction prioritizes on faction development as a realistic comparison to the real Original Young Gangsters (OYG) street gang in real life. Upon joining the faction your character kill permissions are immediately given up as soon as you touch the residents role, you will have to climb the ranks and in-game activity and screens in order to receive rewards.
