Lane Gang
Lane Gang is a predominantly African-American gang located on the South-Side of East Brickton, to be exact, Groove Street. The crew was created in 2030, after some local teenagers were looking to make fast cash, they started a clique and it exploded. They officially founded the name "Lane Gang" in 2025, after they allegedly shot a rival gang member in a drive-by. Most of the LG members are made up of teenagers from the young age of 13 to adulthood at 18. Some are enrolled in local public high schools, such as York-Side High School, or South-Side High.
Lane Gang is known for the disses they throw out on the net, they are usually very active, and normally hop off the net when things are going down in the hood, they are known to lookdown on what they call "Internet Gangsters". They are known to go on lives, chasing rivals, and throwing out disses to whomever they oppose. A viral video surfaced of alleged Lane Gang members pissing on a rival members block, then jumping said rival member. This video blew up over platforms like Worldstar and Bwitter. This viral video gave exposure to Lane Gang, and gave a peek of the lifestyle individuals on Groove were living in East Brickton.
"I don't always feel safe around the Southside anymore. I know anytime I could become a victim to a shooting."
Groove Street is on the southside of East Brickton, known for it's poverty rates and single-mother homes throughout the neighborhood. Most kids either go to school, or hustle for money.
The area has been a gang hotspot for multiple years, with the rates of crime shooting up each year. With Lane Gang started to grow in numbers, and slowly seizing control, EBPD expects crime rate to rise within the area. All over Groove, you'll see some Lane Gang affiliated graffiti across some of the signs and houses.
OOC Information
Lane Gang is portraying as a Crip Gang. Before joining the faction, you have to fill out the character kill permissions, which gives leadership permission to character kill you any time they see fit. This faction is aiming for good to high quality role-play. Any subpar roleplaying, will immediately get you exiled from the faction. We do not have time for trolls/idiotic role-playing.
